    In her spare time she enjoys Scuba Diving, going to the gym and listening to music.

    I began my career in dentistry in 1984 qualifying as a Dental Nurse and then went on to achieve the Dental Hygienist Certificate in 1988 at Guys Dental Hospital London.


    Over the last 3 decades I have gained a wealth of experience in all dental fields, having worked in general practice as well as industry and the armed forces. My last position which I held for many years was working closely with a team of specialist dentists that lead to an additional interest in complex cases.

    I am highly experienced in all aspects that encompass gingivitis and periodontitis to dental implants.

    I am skilled at giving local anaesthetic to patients to ensure hygiene appointments are as comfortable as possible.


    My passion is to improve the quality of patient’s general mouth care and increase confidence and comfort.

    As a child I had a dental phobia and have used this experience to treat phobic patients over the years.


    When I am not in my clinical role, I have a varied life that involves exercise, cooking and travelling and spending time with friends.

    I have 2 grown up daughters who are a constant inspiration a gorgeous husband and an adorable little dog.

    I qualified as a Dental Therapist in 2020 from Kings College Hospital.  I love everything that I do, but I particularly enjoy helping patients feel at ease and preventing dental disease. I hope to increase my skills in aesthetic dentistry in the future.  In my spare time I like to go to the gym, eat at nice restaurants and spend time with friends and family.

    Claire graduated from Sheffield University as a Dental Therapist in 2006.


    Claire has a very relaxed and easy way her patients and enjoys all the different aspects of hygiene work from talking through and demonstrating oral hygiene techniques to doing extensive periodontal treatment.


    Claire is a Mum to four young children, she enjoys being out with her kids on country walks and bike rides. In her spare time she enjoys training with Ampthill ladies rugby team, trail running, listening to music and reading.
